This is an important meeting for all members of the USS Republic who plan to help promote the chapter at our fan table at Dragon*Con and during the Happy Hour at Ten Forward event on TrekTrak.  We'll review our promotional materials and the items we have available for gift baskets and other recruitment incentives, go over certain rules and procedures for promoting the chapter at our fan table, hammer out a duty schedule, and make final preparations for our presence at the Happy Hour event.  Members of the TrekTrak staff will also attend this meeting, so if you're interested in or planning to help promote the Republic at Dragon*Con, please attend this meeting!

Star Trek Night with the Atlanta OutWorlders: "Cold as Ice (The Andorians)"
8:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008

Hosted by and in the home of Alan Siler
2582 Addison Drive, Doraville GA  30340
MAP AND DIRECTIONS

Let's join our friends, the Atlanta OutWorlders, for a night each month that celebrates the quintessential American science fiction television franchise: Star Trek.  Each month, we'll explore a different theme by seeing episodes taken from all of the show's TV incarnations: Star Trek, The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and yes... even Enterprise.  Few television shows, particularly sci-fi, have had the impact on American culture that Star Trek has had.

Driving Directions:
* Take I-85 to the Chamblee-Tucker Rd. exit (that’s the first exit inside I-285 on the NE side of the city). If you’re traveling N on I-85, you would turn left onto Chamblee-Tucker.
* Go through the first light, turn right at the second light (Shallowford Rd).
* Take the immediate next right turn onto Addison Dr.
*Go through the first stop sign; we’re the 5th house on the left.  Mailbox has very reflective numbers.
